What Happens When My Subscription Ends?
If your paid SecureAlias subscription (Pro or Founder) expires or is cancelled, your account status will change. Here's what you need to know:
Account Reverts to Free Plan
The most important thing is that your account automatically reverts to the Freeplan. You don't lose access to your account entirely.
Existing Aliases Remain Active
Your Existing Aliases Keep Working
We believe in being user-friendly. Any aliases you created while you had an active paid subscription will continue to function normally. Emails sent to them will still be forwarded to your designated inbox.
Creating New Aliases
Free Plan Limits Apply
Once your account is on the Free plan, you will be subject to its limitations when creating new aliases. Currently, the Free plan allows a maximum of 5 active aliases.
- If you already have 5 or more active aliases from your previous subscription, you will not be able to create any new ones unless you upgrade back to a paid plan or delete some existing aliases to fall below the limit.
- If you have fewer than 5 active aliases, you can create new ones until you reach the limit of 5.
Other Features
Any features exclusive to the Pro or Founder plans (such as potentially higher limits, advanced reply options, or priority support, if applicable) will no longer be available. You will have access only to the features included in the Free plan.
Reactivating Your Subscription
You can upgrade back to a paid plan at any time from your Account Page or the Pricing Page. Once your payment is successful, the paid plan limits and features will be restored immediately.
In summary: Your existing setup remains functional, but your ability to create new aliases will be based on the Free plan rules after your paid subscription ends.
